My experience began longer ago that I'd care to admit when I developed five commercially marketed games for the Commodore 64! I also wrote a small game programming instruction book which was published. I was never more passionate about software development than when I was creating games, so after a long absence I intend to get back into games development. To do that, I'm going to have to convince a game studio that I know my stuff, so I'm learning Unity. I've gone through several tutorials and it all makes sense so far. I'm now in the process of creating a simple Android game with the goal of demonstrating that I have sufficient skills to make a significant contribution to a gaming studio or project here in Victoria.
I have 20+ years of software development experience. I started by developing video games in assembler language, but drifted into business systems. I'm now studying Unity and developing a demo game with the goal of getting back into game development.
