Being the only bi/lesbian club in the south bay area, under new management, I'd like to see the improvements, the scene, the music, and frankly, dance a bit. ; )

Please join me in re-discovering this place....on Sept 5th, they are having a special event called 'Stompin' w/drink specials, finger foods, Janet Jackson ticket giveaways, a chance to meet the new owners etc.

Check this out:
No Cover
"Hot Finger Foods"
Janet Jackson Concert Tickets Given Away
"Sexy" Promo Girls
$3 Well Drinks starts at 5pm
$1.50 10 oz Draught Beer starts at 5pm

Have never been to this so it will also be a first.

Sincerely, Rickibiggrin

    •  The women that show up are friendly and nice and inclusive.
    •  WOW.......in the last 18 years, I had only been to the Savoy a handfull of times. Now, it is beautiful with the new paint job, great crowd, and awesome music!!!! I got there at 10pm and the place was PACKED!!! I spoke w/the owners and they seem very friendly and full of ideas to make the Savoy a great place for us. AND...no cover, $2.50 draft beer specials including Sierra Nevada, Widimer, etc.... Thanks to all who supported this outing! ; ) Love, Ricki
    •  Had fun seeing some old friends.

The Savoy had a full house and the music has much improved from prior DJ.
    •  It was fun getting out, dancing and meeting more nice, quality people in this group!
    •  It was fun except that I supposedly won the Janet Jackson tickets but only got a $25 Macy's gift card. Since everyone at the bar thought I had won the tickets, all night long women were trying to be chummy with me asking me to take them to the concert and all I could say was "sorry".
    •  We had fun but the music was too loud for socializing

I have fun even though I can't dance due to my two bad ankle:). Nice to see some old faces and some new ones. -ann
