So often in this world, it is difficult, if not impossible, for LGBTQ people to reconcile their spirituality. Many find it hard to believe that there is a safe place to be LGBT and to be spiritual. The LGBTQA Spirituality Meetup is a safe place for LGBTQ persons seeking peace and solace from a society that can be unsupportive and cold. This is a great place to meet local
LGBTQ people who possess various spiritual values (morality, kindness, love, etc).

Our monthly meetings are generally guided by a study text or book that we discuss. The meetings are flexible in that we allow freedom to discuss issues for which members may need extra support. Also, we get together once a month for social events. In the past, we have had outdoor picnics, a trip to King's Island for PRIDE Night and other events where we can get to know one another better.

For any LGBTQ person or straight ally who is in search of a place to find that spiritual affirmation that each of us deserves, you will find it here. As Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together unto my name, there am I in the midst of them." -Matthew 18:20.

P.S. Our group currently consists of Christians, persons of Jewish Faith, Universal Unitarians, persons who practice Buddhism, etc. All beliefs are respected here. Come join us!
