Special guest speaker: Ken Krawchuk, LP candidate for governor!

Ken Krawchuk, who is seeking the LP nomination for governor, will attend the January meeting of the Libertarian Party of Pittsburgh.  When Ken ran for governor in 2002, he appeared in two televised TV debates and got a lot of press coverage for graphically depicting how government wastes our money.

You're invited to chat with Ken about his campaign goals and make strategy suggestions.

If you can't come Wednesday, here is Ken's campaign schedule.  But we hope you are able to come.  Please set your RSVP status as soon as convenient so we know how many tables we'll need.

Ken's speech was lively and generated lots of discussion. Your mission, should you choose to accept it...

    1. Attend the LP PA 2014 convention as a delegate! See http://lppaconvention.org/. Contact the Meetup organizers about car-pooling and possible funding for travel and accommodations (especially for students).

    2. Please contact the Meetup organizers if you can gather ballot-access signatures on May 20--the duopoly parties require us to collect tens of thousands of signatures just to get on the ballot, but a single activist can gather hundreds in one day by approaching voters as they leave their polling place.

Wish I could make this one - I have a meeting at 8:00. I'd love to hear Ken speak again, and glad to throw some Bitcoin his way.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
