It is big when libertarians are outnumbering the repubs! I will have a pic of me on the news and some position statements. I called Alex and she called the reporter so I do not know what they set up. She may be on video but I do know she sent reporter Valencia Wicker a photo.

The next meeting of the state party's executive committee will be this Saturday, July 13th at 1pm in Columbia.

The meeting location is the Grecian Gardens, which is a restaurant located about a mile off of I-26 at exit 110.

You are not "required" to eat lunch, but most of us do.  The meetings start at 1pm and usually run until sometime between 2:30 and 3:30, depending on the amount of business to discuss.  Right now, the "hot topic" will be the special election for Senate 42 here in Charleston, which requires that the state convention be recalled on August 10th to nominate a candidate.

The candidates who have filed for this office are Rodney Travis and Alex Thornton.

Details on the state convention will be posted as soon as they are available.

The August and September executive committee meetings will be by teleconference.  The local location for those interested in attending and the time of these meetings will be posted after the July meeting is concluded.
