I have considered myself to be a Libertarian ever since I have been able to vote. Following the aftermath of Katrina many things were visible as an American citizen. Due to crony capitalism and mass inability from a bloated partisan government, I nearly saw my great city sink into the marshes. I believe it is my right to exercise my freedom of choice not by choosing the lesser of two evils but aligning myself with a party that understands my values. If the two party system is flawed then we as voters need to express it! Stop choosing between Coke and Pepsi. We need transparency, limited federal intervention, more states rights, less bureaucracy, and we need a strong third party. Not one that fizzles out by letting the Democrats or Republicans throw us a bone every other election. Our own party, a change of perspective. To let the public know that there are choices. A vote for a third party is not a thrown away vote, it is the way to escape apathy towards an ever failing system.
