Gale Morgan delivers two highly useful trainings for libertarians in Fresno.
- Roberts’ Rules of Order Training
- Advocacy Training
Robert’s Rules of Order Training will show you why and how these venerable guidelines work for any kind of meeting where members and representatives deliberate and decide an organization’s operation. Robert’s Rules ensure that every stakeholder’s concerns are heard, and that all ensuing decisions are recorded for future reference. They also give meetings a common structure that helps attendees know what to expect and how to interact effectively.
Advocacy Training will show you how to prepare to bring your perspective to elected officials. Knowing how to focus a topic and target it to an elected representative can ensure that your appeal won’t be dismissed as irrelevant. With as much government intrusion as there is - even locally - knowing how to get your elected officials to listen to you respectfully can make a difference in how your local government responds to your liberty-focused perspective.

Gale Morgan is currently the Commissioner for the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and is a director on the Sacramento Resident Advisory Board, a not for profit corporation delivering services to the residents of public housing, and is also the current Northern Vice-Chair of the Libertarian Party of California. He has been trained in advocacy and in Robert’s Rules, has applied them often in his career as Commissioner and Board Member, and has conducted training many times. His most recent advocacy training was at the Libertarian Party of California’s 2013 convention in Sacramento, which prepared more than two dozen trainees to visit our elected representatives’ offices at the state Capitol and present our Party’s views on issues.
Both events will be Saturday, June 22nd, 1:00-6:00 p.m. at Perkos Restaurant on South Clovis Avenue in Fresno. Be sure to register so we'll know how many people to prepare for!
