Monthly Meeting-Guest speaker Veteran, Author, Dan Smee

This month our keynote speaker is one of our own LPVC members, Mr. Dan Smee. He is a returning Iraq War veteran who served as a combat medic with the U.S. Army, now owns his own publication company, and is co-author of the newly released book "Totally American—Harnessing the Dynamic Duo of Optimism and Resilience to Achieve Success." This book presents a unique approach to success—a practical “can-do” model drawn from army field manuals and woven into a tapestry of ideas from philosophy, psychology, theology, and literature.

Dan's story tells of his military experience and personal struggle with the transition from military to civilian life, and how he found his path to personal growth, which ultimately led him to his true calling. Please join us as Dan cuts to the chase. Listen as he explains how through courage and discipline, we can take back the American dream, restore Liberty, and preserve those values that make us be proud to be an American.

Public invited! Whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a member of the Tea Party, or none of the above. Meet other freedom-loving patriots in a casual setting, at Mimi's cafe in Thousand Oaks, in the Winery rm. Please feel free to bring a friend!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
