It's truly embarrassing to see the state of affairs here. I spend hours a week on serious political discussions as a libertarian thru and thru, I donate to the National LP and the Barr Campaign, I put up a yard sign and a bumper sticker on my car and this sorry excuse for a meetup is all we have?????

Forget about my dissappointment. We now an economic dictator appointed by BOTH parties with a wallet twice the size of the GDP of Taiwan and only Bob Barr has a principled stand. The other 2 mental midgets just seemed stunned. We have an ill conceived occupation of a foreign country which follows 12 years of equally ill conceived policy towards that same country by both the DEMs and the REPS ---- Yet SOME so called Libertarians are dumping their dissertion memos on this meetup site because Barr doesn't reach some level of a Randian purity test.

Can't do this folks. The new Alternative Politics is coming soon. And if we don't take this party away from the anarchists and the dopers, the LP is not gonna be a player.

Time to get a sense of self preservation.. Time to deny this state as a reward to McCain. Time to strip enough Democrat support from Obama so that the media will quit analyzing body posture and focus group graphs and polls and speak our name.

If the LP can't do it. I'll find the group with the people who will..

I'm not going to any coffee shop with 3 people signed up. I want an angry motivated intelligient room full of people that will work to fire a lot of useless morons in govt.
