Strategy Session

Greetings Tea Partiers! We need to energize the Tea Party base to keep moving forward, so we're looking for ideas. We will be holding a brainstorming session on the evening of Saturday, August 18 at Jay's Diner from 6pm-8pm. Please come hungry so Jay's Diner can turn a good old fashioned free market profit.

Rochester's red light cameras have been suggested as something we might want to address. No one really likes those except big city Democrats starved for revenue to support their spending habits. Other ideas are also welcome!

In general, I'm looking for active participation in the planning process. Experience shows that the more people show up in the planning stages, the more successful our events will be. So let's find out what gets you excited about Tea Partying!

I was heartened by the enthusiasm and intelligent and focused conversation and left the meeting with a feeling that our Tea Party's best days lie ahead!

There were good discussions about what some of the country's problems are, and ideas about actions that could be taken. In the future, after this brainstorming meeting I hope we have more formal meetings with a flexible agenda where action items are captured and reviewed, and minutes are captured. My hope is that the best of the ideas we come up with can be put into action.

Great opportunity to vent our political frustrations, which we always do well. Great therapy. Nice to see the new members in attendance. Nice people. Am especially pleased with Peter's addition to the group. Looking eagerly forward to our joint meet-up with the Pittsford Tea Party. Should be interesting and, I hope, productive.

The strategy session was excellent - lots of good ideas to get more organized and push forward in the weeks and months ahead. Thanks Chris, for getting us together. It was also nice to get together with positive like-minded freedom lovers.

Thanks, Mel and Tim. We had a good meeting this evening. Hope you can join us in the future.

I was finally convinced to mention my campaign, which I've been reluctant to do so far... Mel, if you're looking for someone to support I am running for the U.S. Senate on the Libertarian Party line. http://www.vote-for-chris.net/

Hey guys, I can't make it, but please keep in close contact with us over at We Surround Rochester. We are planning some vetting sessions, voter registration drives, watching the Presidential debates together, and a November 6 Election Night party! You're all welcome.
