ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR

Michelle Dubreuil Macek

Michelle is a pioneer of Biodanza on the East Coast USA since 2009 where she has been opening spaces for Biodanza in Maryland, Washington DC and New York City with vibrant weekly classes, in Miami and Philadelphia, and a weeklong retreat at the renowned Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in New York state in 2011.

Having completed her training in the Johannesburg, South Africa School of Biodanza and opening a Biodanza studio in Lusaka, Zambia where she facilitated for adults, children and hospice caretakers, she then became a didactic tutor trained by Rolando Toro Araneda, the founder of Biodanza, in Brazil and Milan.

She has facilitated in Zambia, at the South African encounter 2011 as well as the San Francisco encounter 2011. Many other classes/workshops/encounters in Italy, France, Brazil, Argentina, Africa and the USA have found their way onto her dance card in the pursuit of the dance of life!

A Fulbright scholar and a teacher of children and adults for 27 years, she is a highly competent classroom facilitator of the teachings of living life! She conducts classes in English and is fluent in French.
