The Life Drawing Society is the Modern solution for a healthy and Creative Life that keeps you away from Screens a few hours a week where you can learn or practice life Drawing with friends and colleagues. The Life Drawing Society doesn't receive any founding or donation as it's not a charity.

I am proud to be the creator of such establishment that took the best from the Classical, improved it, adapted it and created new fun ways to finally make Drawing interesting and accessible to all.

The Life Drawing Society is the model to copy and that has been copied by most of the new Life Drawing, Burlesque Drawing Schools and institutions for the last 5 years and shall remain so.

You can now take a year worth of Life Drawing, Fun sessions, Local shared sessions, Events, private views for the price of one month or £50.

It will start in Elephant and castle and extend to other venues such as camden in April.

Untutored Classes:

I've been running the classes for now nearly ten years nearly everyday wherever, whenever and still doing so except for the tutored classes where those who don't need or don't believe in tuition can join in but pay less using paypal. I carry all materials needed and paiement is made on arrival. Paper is 20p a A2 sheet. I love what I do and as you 'll see it kept me extremely young and happy...Models are London Best or interesting newcomers. I am happy to give guidance to beginners as I am not a teacher but someone who's been drawing people for a living from the age of 5 and ended up in Montmartre in Paris.

The cost for untutored Life Drawing classes is £9 (2.5 hrs), £11 (3 hrs with a £10 minimum charge), £15 (3.5 hrs) if booked in advance or if you rsvp by text or online here, otherwise up to 30% more.

Burlesque Life Drawing (untutored) is £11 (3hrs with a £10 minimum charge), £15 for Burlesque Mayem

Monthly Membership allows you to participate to all non tutored classes for £50 or £60 including weekends (including Burlesque 3 hours sessions that the yearly membership doesn't include)

Sketchy Theatre (untutored) is £15 at the door or £12 in advance using Paypal

Rodinesque Life Drawing (mainly couples) is £20 for Ladies, £40 for men.

Tutored Classes:

We have 5 teachers specialised in different areas and all have been recommended so better than what you have to deal with in some oher Schools. It took 2 years to find the right teachers and they are amazing...

- Philip is 25 Russian/english with a Deep love for Painting and Anatomy, a huge amount of energy and enthousiasm, with a Classic English education and many stories/tips to tell...He paints a lot and sells regularly.

- Jenny is 24, from Central Saint Martins, english with a big Love for Line Drawing, speed drawing, Drawing connected to Animation and she loves painting Murals for Bedrooms or Houses/Restaurants. She will be starting a course in February 2012

- Millica is 25, From Central Saint-Martins, from eastern Europe with an amazing talent for teaching Life Drawing and helping people for years on how to get accepted with portfolios in Best Drawing Schools in the UK. People only say very good things about her and always want to come back for more.

- Van is 55, From Canada and used to run Creative businesses in Press, editorial and taught a lot Life Drawing and Cartoon/carricature Drawing as he has a fun approach to Drawing. A lovely man who is as good in Group teacher as one to one. He is an open encyclopedia for Drawing and Cartoon.

- Julia is our New seriously recommended teacher who will teach weekend courses and will run tutored evening classes soon. 27, From the States and an endearing/lovely personality.

Tutored classes are £6 (1 hour), £10 (2 hours), £15 (3hours) and will be Life Drawing, Cartoon, Animation, Anatomy, Dynamic Drawing, Life Painting.

Progressive and Alternative Life Drawing will not happen here but at www.modelart.xitti.com (ask me for the password or wait for a group email)

Modeling or recruitment of models:

Models or newcomers  will need to find the life model register group on meetup where they can apply to join and will be accepted once I know they can model/ auditioned. They won't need to pay anything (opposite to Modelreg/RAM) and in fact will get their transport paid or £6. As an option they can also get a FREE photoshoot for their semi and nude portfolios.

If they succeed at their audition, they will get one year free Membership as Pro Models who receive job offers instantly, when other receive them a day later. Once your membership has elapsed you can swap a modeling session for another year Pro membership and everytime you offer your time again you will be given the details of 10 potential employers. I recommend you do a photoshoot with us as often as possible so you can send new photos who could simply hit the spot. I used to do Fashion models for years as Assistant and Freelance photographer.

If you want more chances to find jobs in 20 different styles rather than one, that involves nudity and where you can promote yourself you need to join the life model register on Meetup.com where I can send a message to all models with the password to enter a New website called "ModelArt" at www.modelart.xitti.com with all kind of Alternative, experimental, Erotic Life Drawing/modeling with different rates accordingly.

If you want to learn how to draw and wouldn't mind swapping learning for modeling, let me know. Or volunteer for tutored classes so you learn while modeling.

If you want to model but not in front of a crowd as a job or in exchange for tuition it's possible too. If you want to practice Life Drawing then I can swap with you but if you want to learn then you need to swap with the teachers. Tuition for modeling is negociable so you need to contact the tutors directly, with me it's one session a month one to one or for a class for unlimited practice.

Models from day one can change name and choose to start an exhibition/blog about themselves with all levels of modeling. For the amount of work involve I would also need to swap a modeling session for any type of modeling.

MODELS WANTED to run a local group of Artists where neighbours would share a £50 fee, enough to pay their wage, materials and admin fee. The kit for enabling you to run a class is worth 3 modeling sessions. Mutual trust is necessary.

To recruit Life models you need to become a pro Artist and pay £50 for the year using paypal.

To recruit Alternative, Erotic, unusual models you need to become an Alternative Artist for another £50/year.

In Both situations you'll receive a monthly newsletter with new links to the type of models or websites you're interested in and can only happen at www.modelart.xitti.com (will email password regularly or on demand).

Selling Artworks and Paintings:

Simply send images of paintings you'd like to sell and I will add them to our Gallery Blog (coming soon). Any sale carries a 20% commission, we keep that will go towards the rent of our Building/college.
