Path to Mindfull Living

Note:  Williams is the default location and it is up to the host to change it.

I went through a little bit of a rough time recently and one of my careworkers told me one of the most enlightening things I have heard. He said:

"As we grow up we lose sight of enjoying the simple things in life. Instead of living in the moment and enjoying life, we live in our stresses and worries and grow ignorant of pleasurable things. Think of doing the dishes; as adults we do the dishes and get lost in our worries about life and it's troubles. Though remember back as a child, when doing the dishes we saw the beautiful bubbles and played with them and the water and had a great time. That is mindfulness"

This whole group is based on finding the "bubbles" in the here and now! One of the biggest things to living an enjoyable life is learning to be mindful. I would love to learn this skill and am hoping there are others that do as well.

Maybe we can do a weekly or bi-weekly coffee and discuss stratagies and tips to help each other live in the now and enjoy the great things life is always offering.
