Build a kite and let it fly - for small and BIG kids!

Let's meet up for an afternoon to build a kite and then let it fly. There are a lot of tutorials on how to build a kite online but some of our handy members might want to take a lead on it. :)
We can meet at Springbank Park (or somewhere else), build the kites together (for some kites it takes about 30 mins to build them) and then have fun letting them fly!

I am open for suggestions, if someone has experience with this. I will post the instruction and a list of materials and tools later.

Pretty cool! Very easy to build and the kite even flew, though the wind was not that strong! But was really fun!

But on all the pictures I am in, my kite is in the air, maybe not very high but it wasn't sooo windy. :(

Weather forecast for Sunday: 14°C, feels like 13°C, no rain, 15 km/h wind speed - no idea if this is enough for flying a kite though.
So, has anybody of you ever built a kite?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
