Imagine you could travel (or just "beam" yourself) to any place in the world (or even outside of it, for some of our group ☺) that you always wanted to visit or re-visit. No time-, financial, political or any other limitations apply.

Where would you go and WHY  ?

What city, country or area fascinates you ? Would you go for the culture, the people ? Nature, animals or beautiful landscapes ? For the adventure and challenges ? Is this place far away or close ?

Let's widen our horizons and learn about our places of interest.

Is anyone going to the lecture this evening Wednesday?

I'll be at the foyer (Street level) at 7pm. Might be a popular lecture so not sure how long will be able to hang around before going inside. My cell is[masked] if anyone wants to catch up before or after.

Thanks Megan, I've seen these talks advertised and will be there at least for one next week (Thursday) Maybe some more of our group will be interested ? We should link up and go together.

On a different note, for anyone who has read “The Spirit Level” or is interested in the impacts of inequality on society and humans, the authors of The Spirit Level (Kate Pickett and Richard Wilkinson) are in NZ and doing a series of three, free, lectures next week at Auckland Uni. Thanks Megan, this is something that particularly interests me so I will either attend all three or purchase the CD recordings.

I am so sorry, workload is demanding that I put in a few late nights. Will miss the dialogue tomorrow evening.
