Honesty - why is it so difficult sometimes and when is it not appropriate?

Do you find opening up and sharing you innermost thoughts and feelings awkard sometimes? Do you think, or have you been, judged, discriminated, or disempowered because of doing so? Does being honest complicate matters, or make them more simple? When and where is honesty most needed....in a relationship...in the workplace...with friends/ family....and are the consequences for being honest always worth it? Is Honesty the best policy???

    Hi everyone,
Thought I'd throw out this suggestion topic and venue as an alternative to meeting downtown. The venue is an upmarket bar/resturant with a quiet upstairs area for discussions, and lots of parking across the road. They provide teas, coffees etcetera and alcoholic beverages if you like a quiet one :) I think the limit of 12 people seems appropriate.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
