A little bit about yourself

hi, back in the last century, 1998 to be exact, something a little strange happened to me, ever since i have had an appetite for "knowledge".recently i have been asking myself and others, does true knowledge exist at all and can it be defined,or even (ironically?) understood?I have searched for definitions of knowledge and none of the definitions seem to add much more to the Platonic view of true justified belief. Can subjective qualities such as these be used as criteria or analysis of knowledge? Why not? 200 years ago, what was taken to be scientific knowledge in many fields is now considered to be untrue justified? beliefs. What about the point of view of what we consider knowledge now, in 200 or even 20 years from now.Should knowledge change as beliefs do? Is there knowledge that is eternal? Can we "know" anything?or is it all belief?I hope so.How does knowledge about things compare with belief in things?I hope that you guys might help with these and other questions. thanks

What would you be interested in discussing at these sessions?

I have a variety of interests, generalist, eclectic maybe. My primary interest is probably numbers. From alternative base systems such as binary or octal to the origins of different number systems and everything in between.Another strong interest of mine is philosophy, primarily western, from the before Socratic to contemporary.Special interest in concepts such as the tetra lemma,Zeno's paradox's, Plato's ideal forms and Aristotle's 3 laws of formal logic and how they can exist in a universe of constant motion.I also enjoy learning about science, especially mind to body relationships(science or philosophy?).My pet project at the moment is are the "irregularities"of the English language, and there are thousands of them(not just English) detrimental to learning.I don't know if I have any knowledge to pass on to you, plenty of information and beliefs, but its up to the individual to determine if its worth knowing. Thanks i hope we get to speak soon.
