Meet with other local Active Dogs Owners. We are a group of dog owners, foster dog parents, rescue workers, or part time dog caretakers who like to get out and hike and walk with our dogs.
All well mannered, non aggressive dogs are welcome. Owners must be confident in their ability to control their dogs. Walks and easy hikes are 1-3 hours in length. Hikers/walkers should be certain their fitness and the condition of the dog match the hike.
We understand dog hiking involves slobber, poop bags, dirty pants, and the occasional skunk spray. Hikers should be both responsible with their pets and good humored in regards to the "pack" of the day.
Grab your dog and come out and join us. We indulge in doggie gushing, dog tricks, photo ops, and the obvious game of "fetch" and try to end the hike with time to relax over a beverage or meal if possible.
Hope to see you on a hike and please BRING YOUR DOG. Walkers and hikers without dogs are also welcome, as long as you love dogs.
Beginning July 1, 2009, the membership fee is $7 per year. You can pay using PayPal or send me a check, or pay me at a meet up. Members who have not paid by October 1 or within 3 months of joining, will be dropped.
