I am teaching the Reiki I and Reiki II class together, where you will receive the attunement for Level I if you have not had an attunement and the attunement for Level II if you are already a Level I practitioner.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.
Reiki I covers the history and origin of Reiki and participants will learn how to give a full Reiki treatment to self and others. Students will be attuned to the Reiki 1 symbol. This level of Reiki is mostly concerned with physical healing.
Reiki II is a second level course in Reiki Healing. This course takes the student from 'hands on' healing into the ability to offer and perform 'distance healing' to others. In this one day course we review the information learned in the first Reiki course and continue to build upon the knowledge and experience of the student. There is an additional attunement with this course and the symbols for healing and power are given to the student. We explain the meanings of them, offer examples of how and when to use them and then practice with the student.
You must be certified in Reiki I to receive the Reiki II attunement, but you do not need to have had your certification with me.
The Reiki Attunements are being offered on a love donation basis (the typical Reiki I Attunement class costs $150 and the typical Reiki II Attunement class costs $250).
