While drinking a beer on the couch, simmering after a long work day, I kicked back to watch an episode of HBO's the Newsroom (it gets relevant, promise). In the episode, Jeff Daniels plays an anchor that goes on a rant, claiming that 20-something Americans are members of the worst generation ever. Hearing that statement only reminded me of the numerous times I've been on the receiving end of that same generalization by some "old schoolers" in the business world that claim our generation is "entitled, selfish, and lazy."
You know what? I think they're wrong. In fact, I know it! And this group will prove it.
Not only are we some of the brightest, hardest working minds in the world; we are some of the brightest, hardest working minds of all time. And I can prove it all with a drink in my hand.
We work hard, play harder, and there isn't a damn thing wrong with that!
