64-bit install over 32-bit installation

Hey All,

I'm running 32-bit version of CentOS 5.1 on one of my servers that has 2 quad core opteron processors.  I'd like to install the 64-bit version on this machine but I don't want to overwrite or corrupt my existing partitions.  Is this possible?

Clyde
