March meetup

Hello, I hope this email finds all of you doing well!
Let us all give a heart felt welcome to our newest member Grey Hustle! Whoop-Whoop!biggrin
As you all know our next meet up is this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. @ the Jackson Downtown Library. We are encouraging each of you to make the best effort to attend and bring guests. This year's goal for those of us that joined this meet up group is to become the best (me) we were meant to be. With the state of the economy and the uprising violence that is occurring around the world its clear that the universe is beckoning us to evolve or die. Either way the evolution process has began. With evolution or change, discomfort and pain can arise. Through this pain, (in whatever form it may occur in your life) comes the decision to awaken or to remain asleep. Let us as a whole make the decision to awaken into the enlightened "HUMANS BEING." so we may catapult our generation and our cities into the shift that is already occurring world wide!

See you all at the meet up. Rain or Shine!

Meditative Thought
Sometimes it takes a setback of some kind to rekindle our gratitude to and for Existence. We can be like a spoiled child who takes things for granted. What a jolt in consciousness it is when we are reminded of what a precious incarnation we have, even when things don't always go our way or an unexpected challenge enters our life. Gratitude softens these blows to our ego, and is powerful enough to completely change things around, as we have learned from our brother Job in the Old Testament. Let us look around and see the world, our loved ones, our friends, our spiritual community, our co-workers, grocery clerks, pets, and pet peeves - everyone and everything through the fresh eyes of gratitude. Then just notice how the universe responds to us with gratitude that we are walking upon the earth. --Michael Bernard Beckwith
