I am hoping for a good weather day, as we will be meeting outside.

We will be talking preps and welcoming new members.

Bring your best fire starting technique to share with the group!

I have already heard a couple of different ideas for this, and it sounds like it will be very interesting! Let's see how many different methods we can come up with!

Can Larry try his Indian Magic Campfire?

Or pee in a zip-lock bag, shape the bag like a magnifying glass, and try to focus the sun on some tinder......

FYI... The cosmetic mirror DOES work the same as the parabolic lens (I tried it 2 different times)... and it is much more portable, affordable and less fragile!

Did anyone manage to start a fire via air pressure?

Meeting everyone was awesome! We (collectively) know how to set some fires! What great fun I had! In all I counted 9 different variations. Kewl beanz I say. Going to plan that camp out for the near future!

I learned many different ways to start fire. one member started a fire using a chemical reaction. Another used a round mirrored disc and started a fire. Other methods were steel wool and fiction methods.

Would love to go and meet everyone, but I've got too much to do this weekend. Next time, for sure.

Thinking of putting together a camp-out in July (perhaps) to test some of our equipment, and maybe practice some of our skills. Maybe we could do a little 'equipment swap/trade' thing too. Any one interested?

Sorry I have been 'out of service' for so long. Came down with a nasty "some-kind-of-sick" that had me out of commission for several weeks. BUT, I am back on my feet and 'back on track'! Look forward to chatting with you all!

We have a location set up in Justice, IL. We are going to be 'creating fire', along with our other little itinerary. We would love you to join us if this interests you, and is convenient for you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
