Is Danchall music really Reggae Music? Should Dancehall be banned?

If you've been keeping up with Reggae news you'll notice that Reggae music has been somewhat under attack largely due to the music of the artists in the sub-genre Dancehall. There are two types: Conscious Dancehall and what Jamaicans call Slackness Music (and some others call murder music). A recent community conference was entitled "Dancehall the Ruination of Reggae." I'd like to know what you think. Is Dancehall really Reggae music? When this poll is closed, I'll be posting the a few clarifications and opening the door for more conversation. Of course, if you have something to say, you can start a conversation on the message board at anytime. Please check off all the answers below that apply to your thoughts on the subject.
