You've had a shift in perception and the fire of spirituality has become a major focus in your life. Living in the present is powerfully transformational. Living with this realization of awareness impacts every day life. This group is made up of individuals who are deeply committed to a love of truth, willing to know what we don't know, allowing everything to be as it is, falling radically into a deep sense of acceptance of everything that is presenting, and finding the courage to respond moment to moment authentically.

Exploring the inquiries that arise, as seeming obstacles and pitfalls present, and observing the evolution that naturally occurs is a main component of the sharing/discussion that takes place. We have observed that when consciousness wakes up as our true nature a number of similar effects occur in our field of experience making a gathering like this helpful to share with one another.

Group format: 7-10pm Monday's in Ypsilanti, MI. There is a video or audio presentation by a contemporary teacher. We are presenting mainly non-dual teachers- Adyashanti and his wife Mukti, Nisargadatta, Eckhart Tolle, Ramana Maharshi, Joan Tollifson, Sailor Bob, etc. While all of these teachers are available as pointers to awareness, they ultimately point us back to our own experience and innate inner knowing which is available to all of us equally. We follow these presentations with informal discussion/sharing.

Consciousness/Awareness/Spirit is always with us. It is who we are. The NOW is all that there is. Thinking is necessary, planning is necessary, yet some of the thoughts that we have (especially about other people, situations/judgments as they're happening, the past or the future) are only interpretations of direct experiencing, not necessarily the truth and often unhelpful. Realizing that the mind is one of the expressions of Spirit, but that Spirit is more than the mind is a doorway to transformation.

This is an open- inclusive group, welcoming all traditions.

“Hi, Hitesh! It's me, Linda Papa from the Ann Arbor Walks group! Funny to find you in here. I joined this group back in March and have yet to get to a meeting. Since you and Melissa are moving to Canton, maybe you'd be interested in sharing a ride with me to one of these meetups. I think that would motivate me to go. Monday nights are so difficult for me ... any weekday night it seems. Let me know what you think. Linda”
