Hello Living DC/MD/VA,

Living GREEN's website is now available at:

www.livinggreennetwork.org

I think it is fair to say that we are all excited to have such a good group of people coming together to Think Global and Act Local! If you'd like to get involved further; please get in touch.

I'd like to thank those of you that are taking time out of your lives to make something positive and beneficial happen for people and the planet by raising funds for the Missouri Botanical Garden's EarthWays Center. We look forward to those of you that will be able to attend the Summer Solstice Garden Benefit at Terrene - Inspired Cuisine. Dr. Peter Raven has been announced as the Guest of Honor. One of the leading Botanist and biodiversity experts, he will delight us with his words and recognize key people working on behalf of people and the planet.

The Living GREEN Network would like to announce the initial launch of our website. We will be refining it over the coming months but, it is up and running at www.livinggreennetwork.org

On our website we provide basic information about Living GREEN, opportunities to connect through various social networks, a link to your MeetUp group, information about our efforts partnering with Terrene, KCM Art and Design, and SMW Global Consulting to hold the Summer Solstice Garden Benefit for the Missouri Botanical Garden's EarthWays Center in St. Louis on 20 June 2009 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Check out the event on Facebook -

Living GREEN is quickly developing an innovative approach that will make it unbelievably easy for people to begin Living and Giving GREEN via the web - Saving the Planet will be a few clicks away.

You can also learn more about the Silent Art Auction for the Benefit of EarthWays, May 15 - June 19, 2009 at the EarthWays Center, and at Terrene on June 20th.

Check it OUT!

If you want to move people, it has to be toward a vision that's positive for them, that taps important values, that gets them something they desire, and it has to be presented in a compelling way that they feel inspired to follow. - Martin Luther King Jr. "I Have a Dream"
