Jam on the Strand

We are meeting on Monday 24th February for a jam at the Savoy Tup.

It's a great venue - easy to get to, quiet, and roomy enough. Beautiful location too - right next to Waterloo Bridge.

The evening will run as follows - we will share some new tunes and play some old favourites.

Please bring along a song that you enjoy playing with some sheets of chords/ lyrics so that we can all learn something new.

Last time we played the following tunes, which went down really well and we will do these again:

I'll fly away Wagon wheel Blackberry Blossom
Sad songs and waltzes by Cake, in G
The Leaving of Liverpool I'll fly Away Wild Mountain Thyme Those Were the Days I'm Gonna Do It All

We will also play some old favourites: (See the files section for chords/ lyrics http://www.meetup.com/livingroom-folk/files/)

Come down and join us for a relaxed, inclusive vibe. Starts at 1900 but is flexible. Finishes at 1000 this time.
