Moved to CA in Fall 09, discovered hiking in April 10, and have been hooked ever since. Am member of several groups, and am more likely to hike if start time is not early morning. Also avid chess player/blogger. Have PhD

I recommend that we meet at the Tapo Canyon Park & ride at 8:00 AM. I prefer to pay someone else to drive, but if no one else wants to do it then I'll be happy to drive.

Hi Kurt, I didn't understand what you meant by my group being "closed" regarding Saturday's hike. If you're already a member, my group isn't closed to you.
