Making the Connection: Livable Downtowns & Local Jobs

JOIN US to explore how the various facets of the health of our cities – economic, environmental, and social – intersect. As part of San Mateo County Affordable Housing Week, we are pleased to bring you a discussion of how vibrant downtowns can benefit local jobs, housing options, how we get around, and the health of the community. We with have a dynamic panel discussion and afterward small groups will brainstorm strategies for using the information presented to make our communities more resilient, economically, environmentally, and socially.  Free and open to the public, registration requested; refreshments provided.


To build a stronger community of people working toward the solutions to the structural changes to come in our region and strategies for our cities to become healthier places- socially, environmentally, and economically

Ariane Hogan, Genentech.
