Don't Frack California Rally - Sacramento

After months of showing up to all of Governor Brown’s public events, lobbying legislators, delivering over 100,000 public comments, and even dropping a banner during the State of the State, it’s time to show up in force.

On March 15th, thousands of Californians are coming together in Sacramento to demand an end to fracking in our state. It’s time to stand up and tell our leaders: Don’t Frack California! Rally will be from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Buses leaving from San Jose at 9:30 am, with a 10 am pickup from Caltrain Palo Alto.

Best rally I have ever been to! They said 4,000 people; there were about 800 just in the 16 buses I saw. Perfect weather. Extremely well organized-- thanks, Brian, for being our capable and attentive leader--positive, lots of enthusiasm and color, excellent speeches by interesting people. One from the aide of the legislator who authored the moratorium bill who encouraged us "the legislators do listen, keep it up! And come on April 8 for the first hearing". Politically, two gubernatorial candidates were represented; Cindy Sheehan for P & F, and Luis Rodriguez for Green Party. Interestingly, there was strong representation (people, table, lots of signs) about the Delta Tunnels. Also, special kudos to the people who came in force from San Diego, and Humboldt region as well!

I just read that 5,000 have RSVPed for the rally...
The Governor should hear us loud and clear!
