This is a 17-mile hike with about 1300ft of total elevation gain.
Climb a hillside in the morning, enjoy an early lunch in a eucalyptus grove; then hike in a redwood forst, followed by a walk back along the coast in the afternoon. See yellow perennial lupines as well as seaside daisies in bloom along the coast. Bring lunch and liquid for the day. Rain cancels. Sierra Club asks you to sign their usual liability waiver.
