This meetup idea from Jim had a lot of interest so I'm setting it up. Come see this play about gay relationships, at the amazing Oval House Theatre (nearest tube: Oval, on the Northern line zone 2 south of the city just below Kennington). Our most cultural meetup yet! Isn't this a fabulous idea?! :-)
Presented by Northern Ireland's first publicly funded gay theatre company, it takes an uncompromising look at the dark underbelly of the real lives of 4 of today's gay men, vanquishing familiar stereotypes. The subjects of virtual identity, monogamy, bareback sex, and ageism are explored. It has been called visceral, and at times shocking. For more info on the play, see:ovalhouse.com/cn/event_details.php?sectionid=theatre&eventid=392
If the date isn't good for you, but you want to go, then please rsvp anyway (a "Maybe" is good here) and add a comment about what days you'd prefer. If you're coming anyway, it'd be good to know whether you would prefer the weekend or earlier in the week/can make it then. That way I can see how much of a need there is to change the date - a Friday. Its only on til the Sunday after (3rd) so it can't be too much later, and setting it too early won't give people time in their diaries or to see it and respond in time.
