It would be great to climb with someone who also has a son or daughter into climbing too of a similar age to mine. As mentioned I am very rusty and a bit unfit, but used to climb at about grade 5C.
Went to dorset and got the whole family out on a top rope on dancing ledge last month - waves below you, it's great
Walked the Tour du mt Blanc when I was 18 with an Ausy I meet in chamonix. It was early June and the snow was still at about 2200m which made it very interesting. Had to spend a few emergency nights in refuges that where not properly open yet for the season.
Climbing, lead climbing a bit of ice climbing, particularly like scrambles and long mountain routes, but that was between 18 and 23 when I was a student. I have done some yoga recently.
Regular indoor climbing, weekday early evening, after school time (not friday), plus what ever else is good and I can fit in.
Hi, I love the outdoors but have not climbed much for about 10 years. I am now keen to get back into it and my daughter (9) is interested too. I am 35, and work as a self employed architect / designer and live in hackney.
