Yes I am looking for a climbing partner - my local wall is the one at Swiss Cottage but I used to climb mostly at the Castle and Westway.
Feeling pretty shaky on a lead that was too 'bold' for me and arriving on the belay ledge to find a dead sheep's decomposing body - didn't feel like a particularly good omen!!
I have also done a limited amount of easy outdoor climbing (both seconding and leading) mainly in Wales. Idwal slabs was a fave - long easy climbing ideal for practicing ropework / protection. And if you get there early its not too packed....
I climbed reasonably regularly at the various London climbing walls for 2-3 years (but was never that great) but unfortunately I have done almost no climbing for the past 2 years so I'm seriously out of practice.
I'll probably need to do a fair bit of indoor top roping & bouldering for a bit to get back into the swing of climbing but after that I'd like to get back into leading in preparation for some climbing outdoors in the summer.
I'm looking for a group of people to go climbing with in London as the folks I used to climb with no longer live here.
Friendy bunch and a good opportunity to find some new climbing partners
