The BIG Love Experience
This event is a community healing ritual designed to gently release fear, shock and trauma held in the body, by actively allowing our natural trembling/quaking to occur. Through a series of carefully designed Bioenergetic exercises and postures (similar to Yoga or Tai Chi) we'll create an opportunity to re-experience our natural state, what the Kalahari Bushmen call, "The Big Love".
At the personal level, Bioenergetics is a catalyst for transformation. This work opens the heart, brings grounded empowerment to the personality, and a deeper connection to the core; centre of your authentic self and Divine essence.
Things to bring:
1)Yoga mat, 2)Blanket, 3)Bottle of water
4) Loose comfortable clothing suitable for yoga.
Led by Bioenergetics practitioner Seth Newman. Seth has over 15 years experience in body/mind therapies. He is a qualified body therapist, Trance Dance facilitator and is training in Humanistic Alchemy at the Open Centre. He brings a wealth of experience holding heart centred spaces.

"Trauma recovery work has got to develop a new paradigm, because the paradigm that we have now is based on post-traumatic stress disorder and you go to a one to one therapist. You cannot do that with large groups of people. So there has got to be a new paradigm shift in the realization of "how do we do recovery from ptsd on a large scale population?" How do we get whole groups of people, like villages for example, or an entire school system healed? So that’s the first paradigm shift, we have to change our concept of ptsd recovery so that we can work on a large scale."

"Members of the world's oldest living culture, the Bushman shamans are probably descendants of the original custodians of shaking medicine. Their dance is based upon a disciplined way of arousing and orchestrating ecstatic body experience. Present-day Bushman shamans are painfully aware that the world is in a dangerous crisis."
