A new year, new start and hopefully a newly informed Londoner! We are going to ensure you find out more about your city through our events. We will be exploring different places from diverse cultures as well the good old historical heritage in London.
Our first of the series is the Learn more and Explore Event where we let you enjoy the event with injected knowledge from our guides or trainers running the session. We are working behind the scenes to ensure you gain an all in all great experience. Remember the art of great living is through great experiences!
Here is the first, From Fire to Finance City Walking Tour. This will be lead by our London Blue badge Guide Gavin Webb who has a wealth of knowledge in this area as he previously worked in the city prior to becoming a Professional London Guide.
Discover the hidden gardens and atmospheric alleys as we explore the 2000 year old city. Hear how London’s Great Fire shaped the city we see today, and see how the financial institutions influenced our language. From medieval to modern architecture, from Charles Dickens to Harry Potter.
MONUMENT STATION AT 6.45pm (7pm start is the walk)
Meet up sign will be held.
WHAT TO WEAR
Well I guess if you are coming from the city then you’d be smart right? Well no bother just make sure you are comfortable. And ladies I mean comfortable no stilettos or heeled boots! We are going to be walking for a good two hours!
So a warm jacket or coat check, comfortable shoes or trainers check and an umbrella check!
WHAT TO BRING.
Why yourself of course with a dose of sunshine smiles as knowing British weather it may rain!
Ensure you have some loose change in your wallets or bags as we will be heading for a drink or two at a local pub.
