How about we carry on from where we left off last time? I thought the coding Katas worked well; straight into learning how to apply the features of the language to fairly well known problems, rather than spending time learning about language neutral things like the problem domain or frameworks etc

Also, I posted this as a comment yesterday but it didn't seem to have got broadcast to the group, so here it is again ...

I'm not sure if anyone's posted one of these before, but I've got a quick start scala/sbt template (with the eclipse plugin & ScalaTest examples) up on github ( if anyone wants to use it tomorrow night. Full instructions are in the README
