Exhibition: Women in Focus

Discover a new display of colour photographs by acclaimed photographer Dorothy Bohm, showing the varied lives of London women from the 1990s to the present. This is FREE!

With an aim to capture the many roles of women in society, Bohm juxtaposes the images of women that surround us in advertising, artworks and shop windows with real women living and working in the capital – revealing the contrasts, similarities and gaps between ideals and expectations of the feminine and real life women in everyday situations.

If you are running late, please still join us, just let me know; ask staff for directions.

I am struggling to remember which of you mentioned the William Klein + Daido Moriyama exhibition at Tate Modern . Klein is brilliant, it is a huge exhibition, and so much more appealing than Women in Britain. So a BIG THANK YOU to whoever it was and I would urge anyone who has not seen it to get along there before it closes on 20th January

    Hi Natalie

    Thanks for organising it.
    Great to meet everyone.
I look forward to details of your courses when they are published.
Irritating to lose my lens cap like that. However I have ordered new lens caps - not expensive - and these have retaining cords so hopefully that will not happen again.

thanks for the excellent organisation and facilitating the discussion, very interesting and made me think about why I like photographing "stuff" if only I can take good pics :)

thanks again to you and the group..

Thank you to everyone who chipped in with their opinions on this exhibition. They helped me engage with the pictures a lot more than just looking at them myself. If interested in more on her life check out
