are you planning to come to the Swiss National Day? it will take place in Central London on 20 July and itäs a great place to mingle, to have a raclette, to enjoy live music and then to see the children's kantern procession with handmade lampions.
I am looking for someone who can commit to expecting other Swiss Expats at a meeting point for 30 minutes/45 minutes. It is a very informal event at which a lot of people are expected, so the main challenge is to keep some space or a location for the Swiss Expats to meet each other.
I'll be on site until 8 or 9 pm but as I am responsible for the children's programme, I'd rather not commit to the organisation of a second event. I can help with reserving a suitable location - a table indoors or a space outside if the weather is good.
Possible meeting times are 5.30 pm to 6 pm (when the address of the Swiss Ambassador will take place) and 6.45 pm to 7.30 pm. Ideally it would be someone who can stay with the Expats at least until 9 pm.
Could that someone be you?
Please get in touch and I'll make you a Co-organiser.
Bis bald, bis gli, à bientôt, tanti saluti
