Welcome to the original British-based foraging group on meetup...hosted by the Wild Plant Guide!

We provide regular wild food walks, courses, and evening classes as well as wild food cookery courses and events,  all over London!

These eye opening, taste-bud tickling experiences, are open to anyone with an interest in learning how to find, correctly identify, prepare and use the abundance of wild food and medicine plants found here in Britain.

Please note that a nominal and redeemable membership fee of £5 per year is requested for the administration costs of the group and for the new Wild Plant Guide.

As a member you get

-First class tuition at far less cost than with many other, less-experienced foraging guides.

-My downloadable resources, and other wild plant study aids, at a reduced rate to purchase.

-Priority bookings on all my walks, courses, classes, and events

In effect, this small subscription fee will not cost you anything... as soon as you book on any event!

The majority of the meetups here are introductory foraging events. They are suitable for all comers and all ages. Supervised Children are more than welcome! Dogs on leads are welcome on my walks.

If you can't go out much but do have a computer, then  wild plant information, foraging snippets, photos, videos, and other plant related content can be found  on my facebook page                                                          https://www.facebook.com/Ipsophyto

as well as on twitter @ipsophyto https://twitter.com/Ipsophyto

For a taster of what you will get on these walks and courses,  please have a look at some of my bite-size foraging videos available on http://www.youtube.com/ipsophyto777

Foraging through the changing seasons continuously reveals more and more of nature's beauty and her useable resources.

With each different event arranged on these pages, you will be able to witness and experience the changing seasons as they bring forth changing harvests. Here is my winter foraging guide from the Wild Plant Guide.

Don't forget you can suggest meetups to the group and Im always looking for new places to go. In the last 12 months I have visited 4 different sites on suggestions from members...So if you want to know what's growing in your area, suggest a meetup!

On all our walks and courses, 50% off concessionary spaces are available for pensioners, and for low waged/unwaged. Please apply by email in the first instance. Children under 16 can come at 50% discount, and Under 12's come free.

If booking on an event please note that transfers to other walks or courses are available if giving 7 days notice. Refunds are not available unless I cancel. I hardly ever cancel, and weather is not ususally a reason. Please don't email asking for refunds as you will just be more disappointed!

Happy foraging!
