This House Believes it is morally wrong to sleep with someone who is intoxicated
We open 2013 with a lively debate on a serious topic and a genuine dilemma that has doubtless affected many if not all at some point in their lives.
Securing consent for any form of personal interaction is rarely a straightforward matter and in some cases, even where it is clearly given, the law prohibits the act in question, such as one person killing another, because society has deemed such an act to be wrong under any circumstances.
We ask if sleeping with someone who is under the influence of alcohol or any other mind-altering substance that may affect their judgement, should fall under this category too.
We are proud members of the London Debating Hub and we highly recommend you keep an eye out for all the other amazing events promoted on this page if you are interested in speaking your mind on subjects you care about and meeting other like-minded people.
