Introduction
My name is Sian. Originally from Wales but that was a LONG time ago, now moved back to London (was here for uni). I am a Midwife and enjoy meeting new people - some of whom can be just a few seconds old!! I am the one standing in my profile pic.
What do you love about London?
Living in culturally mixed communities. All the different places and experiences that are possible here. And yes - the public transport! Lived in semi rural area before - hell to get anywhere!!!!
What are you looking forward to doing with this group?
Meeting interesting people, having fun and learning about new things.
What do you recommend that the group do (that costs less than a tenner, of course!)
Picnic, on a sunny day, on Hampstead Heath (or any of London Parks). Everyone does a 'Bring and Share' dish of food. We have a ball and bat and play a game of scratch cricket/softball or footie, or learn to fly kites or, for the non athletic - bring a pack of cards and play snap! But essentially have good company and good conversations.

Certainly lived up to it's name. Whole evening cost me £14 including drink and travel costs. If I hadn't been feeling lazy and used the bus & walked instead of the tube - it would have been even cheaper!

Hello and thanks for your message. Was looking forward to this but so sorry that I am unable to attend due to a last minute change of plan. A friends son is arriving in London from Italy on Friday afternoon and I have to take care if him as he has never been to London before
