One of the classic London traditions - the annual Proms - are on again. These are one of the most affordable ways to enjoy some high-class music at the famous Royal Albert Hall and should be an enjoyable Sunday evening on which to end the weekend.
We'll go see some of Britain's best young music talents in a performance by the National Youth Orchestra playing several energetic pieces of music: http://www.bbc.co.uk/proms/whats-on/2014/august-10/15038
Though the Prom starts at 7:45, we'll join the queue early to get our £5 tickets. Following typical Promming custom, we'll just make the queuing part of the fun. So bring food, drinks, and good conversation (or games) and we won't even notice we're waiting.
Exact details of meeting place and time to be announced later, but plan to start queuing at around 5 in the afternoon.
As always, we'll ask for a £1 contribution from everyone towards our Meetup group fees.
