Introduction

Studied Philosophy at Uni - although that was a few years ago now! Been reading popular Philosophy (if that isn't an oxymoron!) recently, and interested in meeting others for some interesting talks and discussions.

What are you looking for in the London Philosophy Club?

At Uni was interested in various areas - Existentialism, Ethics, Linguistics. Now also interested in the above, and also how to apply philosophical principles and thoughts to modern life, or how to live modern life philosophically, or somthing like that! The type of stuff Alain de Botton writes about I suppose.

You may be interested in GlobalNet21 at http://www.meetup.com/21stCenturyNetw... where we debate and discuss some of the great issues of the 21st century. GlobalNet21 was set up to discuss some of these great issues of our millennium and bring back the hope that we can do something about it.
