I studied Philosophy at university and now teach it at Secondary School. Despite the fact I'm making a career of it, it doesn't get old, and I love discussing Philosophy over a pint/coffee!

Boom - hi Laura, the first MEME night is scheduled, will be good to hear your psychological thoughts and views in just over a week's time if you can make it. The inspiration for this month's topic is from this book: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2011/... - though I'm no expert so mainly going to be a chance to exchange ideas and see what we as a group can agree and disagree on during the night, will be good - hope to catch you then (bring friends) cheers!
Hi Christina, thanks for joining the Memeup group, stay on the look out for details of the first meetup next month, just in the process of confirming the venue. And when I said "all opinions are as valuable as each other" I was hoping to make the discussion sound democratic, ha ha - good point, look forward to continuing on from this when we get started - boom!
Not a problem when you arrive to the talking to strangers event. Hope you can make it :-)

Hi Christina. You asked whether I was coming to the Thinking Bob debate tonight. I wasn't sure, but now can't make it. It's a pity! I hope you have a good evening and a lively debate, and see you at another event soon.
Teaching Philosophy to teenagers - cool job!
Christina, I am so sorry you went to the Ritzy Picture House in Brixton by mistake, hopefully you will join us a the Roxy next time, for another great evening, lots of other events coming up too, but a good lesson to us all to read the small print. I will also make the venue details bigger in future.
Best wishes, Helen
