How to light and shoot
Our Fashion Photography Workshop is aimed at giving you an insight of all the aspects involved in a professional fashion shooting and, at the same time, allow you to go back home with strong photographs for your portfolio work. With fashion photography being one of the most challenging and competitive field in the industry you will not only require a good knowledge of lighting techniques but also a great attention to details and a team supporting you in the whole production of the shoot. For this reason we always work with professional models and we will have a team of other professionals including a hair stylist, a make up artist and a fashion stylist.
During the evening you will be taught at least two different light setups to play with and you will have the time to be the main photographer directing the model and the whole shooting. Luca Monti, our main tutor, will teach you also the right light set-up and the way to collaborate with the other creatives to get better pictures.
The event is open to both beginners and intermediate photographers and is limited to 8 participants in order to give all of you the possibility to get the most out of the evening and shoot in a relaxed and friendly studio environment.
The workshop is divided into several stages:
- Schedule Presentation and introduction to the workshop
- Lighting secrets explanation and preparation of the light setup
- First shooting session
- Short break and variation of the light setup
- Doubts and questions
- Second shooting session
- Final thoughts
