The aim of this constantly growing group is to help you improve your photographic skills not only showing basic and advanced lighting techniques but also making you more aware and conscious of the whole creative process behind a photo shoot.
This means talking about topics like make-up, styling and the overall mood and concept we want to achieve in our images.
We are very keen on both film and digital photography, encouraging everyone to participate with every kind of camera, from toy or self built cameras up to Ultra Large Format cameras or the latest technology extravaganza from the industry.
Our Program
Joining LPW for a workshop or a class means taking part and contribute to a very active photography community / club with persons of all ages and different skills. Every month you will have plenty of reasons to grab your camera and take part to:
Workshops - Build up your photography skills and knowledge through tuitions from professionals in the industry
Photo Walks - Focus on a particular technique or develop a specific theme with other photographers and likeminded friends
Lectures - Learn from the experts thorough talks and masterclasses from professionals under the spotlights
The LPW Team
We are a small group of passionated photographers, stylists, make-up artists, scenographers leaded by Luca Monti - LPW Founder & Coordinator - a fashion photographer with 20 years experience in the industry, teacher and lecturer with hobbies in flying, sailing and adventure travels in the most far away places of the planet.
Luca enjoys Alternative Process Prints, ULF and Street Photography and he is interested in the aesthetic and theory of photography. His favourite photographer is William Klein and he has shot for and written 13 books during his life as a photographer.

Teaching and learning photography is a lifetime pleasure and when we opened this group we did it with a precise goal in our mind: to give others the possibility to learn and practice photography while having fun and connecting with like minded people in a relaxed and comfy studio environment.
This is why being part of LPW means not only to have the chance to improve your photographic skills in a very short time but also to actively contribute with ideas and propositions to a fun and enjoyable community of friends!
We want you to be able to take better photos and to understand how to achieve the results you have in your mind before pressing your camera shutter button. For this reason we will always strive to keep our events and workshops affordable, practical and creative, offering a wide range of topics like Fashion, Portrait, Nude and more.
It does not matter where you come from, what your age is, what your daytime job is or how amateur (or pro) you are with photography... if you love photography and you enjoy meeting nice people you should definitely be part of the LPW experience at least once!
