It's time to start using your flash more creatively. This is a small group off camera flash workshop limited to only 4 people so will give you plenty of time to practice, ask questions and get individual attention. We'll be in a beautiful old Victorian room for this event with a model. Our resident expert Marc Godfree will be leading you through this session.
In this session you'll learn:
-how to expose for flash
-how to balance the flash and ambient
-softening the light, direction of the light
-adding a second light
We'll be leading you through this session and you don't need to worry about flash kit as our equipment will be set up for you to use.
What you need:
You only need to bring your camera with a standard hot shoe. Sony camera users may need to bring a hot shoe adapter.
You'll need to operate your camera in manual mode. If you aren't sure how to do this then please bring your camera manual with you. Although we are knowledgeable with most cameras there are some that we may not be familiar with.
As usual check TFL for any transport issues. Will will be moving to the shooting location at 6pm so make sure to be on time or ring Alex to find out how to locate the location.
Please answer questions on camera make as we need it for planning.
There is no waiting list for this event.
We're always looking for reliable models, hair and make up artists so please contact me if you are one or know any who would like to take part in these events.
