So if you're ready to get to grips with your Speedlight and you're looking to learn to use flash off camera this workshop is designed for you.
In this session you will learn:
-how to expose for flash
-how to balance the flash and ambient
-softening the light, direction of the light
-adding a second light
We'll be leading you through this session and there will be models for you to work with. Our equipment will be set up to use.
What you need:
You only need to bring your camera with a hot shoe adapter. But if you have the kit you can bring your flash, triggers, receivers and light stands if you want to practice after the session is over. Bring a pen and paper if you want to take notes. Sony camera users will need to bring a hot shoe adapter.
You'll need to operate your camera in manual mode. If you aren't sure how to do this then please bring your camera manual with you. Although we are knowledgeable with most cameras there are some that we may not be familiar with.
We're meeting inside the Cans Festival Tunnel. It's behind Waterloo Station, off York Road on Leake Street, London SE1 7NN
As usual check TFL for any transport issues.
We're always looking for reliable models, hair and make up artists so please contact me if you are one or know any who would like to take part in these events.
