HDR Photography has been around since the days of film, but has become extremely popular in recent years. HDR is essentially a way of processing photos that allows for a wider and deeper range of colors. For members wishing to learn this style of photography I shall be running a introductory workshop showing you the techniques for taking HDR images in Central London of some popular landmarks.
There will be guidance on how to setup your camera to correctly take the HDR photos and you should bring a DSLR, be comfortable changing basic setting such as ISO, APERTURE and SHUTTER SPEED etc..
You will need the following.
A tripod, Shutter release cable or self timer mode in the camera
Reasonably wide lens
Ability to set exposure bracketing on camera otherwise we can work around this manually.
Location and time will be announced closer to the event dateDue to the nature of the event once your photos are taken there is a need for post production in photoshop to create the final HDR effect which I can provide advice on this step, hopefully most of you may be using Photoshop or familiar with it.
Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
